MLB’s newly revamped media deals!

We just got the scoop on MLB’s newly revamped media deals! Starting in 2026, the league has signed new three-year broadcast agreements with ESPN, NBCUniversal, and Netflix—totaling approximately $800 million per year. 📺

  • ESPN will retain a midweek game package and gain the rights to distribute MLB.TV via the ESPN app, paying $550 million annually. [espn.com], [chicago.suntimes.com]
  • NBCUniversal/Peacock will bring back Sunday Night Baseball, as well as carry Sunday leadoff games and the entirety of the Wild Card round, for about $200 million per year. [espn.com], [chicago.suntimes.com]
