Kim Kardashian seemingly hinted at the reason for her divorce from Kanye West in the latest episode of The Kardashians.

The SKIMS founder made a rare comment about the breakdown of her marriage while speaking to her sister Khloe Kardashian about her own rocky marriage to ex-husband Lamar Odom in the February 13 episode of their family's Hulu reality series, per People. Khloe reunited for Odom for the first time in nine years and shared her complicated feelings with her sister and their mom, Kris Jenner. The pair were married from 2009 to 2016, during which time he struggled with addiction and landed him in a coma after an overdose.

"That was the love of my life. And if it wasn't for drugs, I don't know we would still be married 'til today," she said. "I know I picked the right person at that time. None of us knew he was on drugs until it was at least a year in. That's what was so terrifying."

The confession appeared to hit home for Kim, who seemingly referred to her own split from the Donda rapper.

"That's the hardest part. I've been there," Kim said. "When you don't foresee something happening that really changes a person's personality and then they're not the same person and you can't ever get that person back, but you can't live with the new person. I get it."

Kim expanded even more during a confessional about the tough decision to have their marriage come to an end when "circumstances change."

"It's tougher when you don't want your marriage to end off of personal reasons but circumstances change that force your marriage to end," she said. "When you weren't planning on that and that's not really the outcome you want but there's no other option, I think it makes it harder."

Kim and Ye were married for nearly seven years before she filed for divorce in 2021. The former couple shared four kids together: daughters North, 11, and Chicago, 6, and sons Saint, 9, and Psalm, 5.
