A little bit about Slam Duncan's Children's Charity:

Slam Duncan began helping children in 1995 with his national award-winning Bikes-or-Bust promotion, before forming his own full-time charity in 2000.

After four years of Bikes-or-Bust, and collecting 6,524 bikes for kids at Christmas, Slam Duncan’s Children's Charity was created to help underprivileged kids not only at Christmas but throughout the year.

In 22 years of hosting the Angels Helping Angels event, the Roanoke community has provided more than 10,000 gifts for area children.
