Update: All people have been accounted for after devastating flooding in Buchanan County, Virginia state police said Thursday.
The number was as high as 44 on Wednesday.
No fatalities have been reported.

ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — The number of people unaccounted for after devastating flooding in Buchanan County has fallen to 17.
Chief Deputy Eric Breeding provided an update on Thursday morning with the lowered count.
Tuesday's storms brought a lot of rainfall causing flooding issues in many parts of Southwest Virginia.
The Buchanan County Sheriff's Office previously reported that 44 people were unaccounted for following the flooding.
An estimated 100 to 150 residences have been washed away.
On Wednesday, Gov. Glenn Youngkin declared a state of emergency to help with response and recovery efforts.
Roanoke County Fire & Rescue currently has five of its swiftwater rescue team members heading to Buchanan County to help with the ongoing flood situation.
