Hope Academy for Counselor Excellence is hosting an open house on Monday, May 23 from 11:00 am - 2:00 pm at their office at 409 Court Street in Lynchburg.
Hope Academy is a service of from Patrick Henry Family Services’ (PHFS) counseling ministry, Hope For Tomorrow Counseling.
Hope Academy seeks to contribute to the mission of PHFS by offering substantial support to its clinicians.
The clinician training center is focused on the development of Resident Counselors with opportunities for clinicians in other mental health professions (substance abuse counselors, marriage and family therapists, social workers, and psychologists) and at other stages of development, including graduate students.
Clinicians will be supported through regular supervision and a structured curriculum focused on their developmental progression.
Clinicians will have the opportunity to work with a variety of clients in terms of psychopathology, age, gender, education, socio-economic status and cultural diversity.
