LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — The puppy stolen from the Lynchburg Humane Society earlier this week has been found safe.
The missing puppy will be united with his future family Thursday.
Someone called in a tip to the Amherst County Sheriff's Office about the puppy's location, and deputies were able to go and retrieve him safely.
According to LHS, the 2-month-old male puppy, Jersey, was likely taken between noon and 3 p.m. on Tuesday.
