LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — The sixth measurable snow this month is coming to our area.
1" to 3" snow amounts will be most common Friday p.m. to Saturday morning.
Winter Weather Advisories for most of Virginia is likely, with Winter Storm Watches/Warnings possible for Hampton Roads/Virginia Beach where totals could exceed 4".
Roanoke, Lynchburg, Lexington, Nelson and Charlottesville could see snowflakes before Friday 5 p.m.
Rain is briefly possible before changing to all snow -- once precip changes to snow, it will remain as snow for the duration.
Snow will then increase from northwest to southeast after 5 p.m. Friday. Snow ends before Saturday 8 a.m.
