LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) — Our second batch of snow for the week will move across Virginia Thursday night and Friday morning. This snow will be from a fast-moving weather system. Due to the quick pace, snow totals will be lower than earlier this week.
The precipitation will move in from the west Thursday night. A brief period of rain, followed by a quick change to snow will occur in the Lynchburg area and Roanoke. Southside will have more rain and less snow.
Total accumulations for most areas will be around 1-3" of snow, less in Southside, a little more in the New River Valley.
