NASA NAMING STUFF ON MARS WITH NAVAJO LANGUAGE
There’s a NASA rover up on Mars -- named Perseverance -- and it’s sending back all sorts of cool pictures of the planet.
As it’s rolling around, officials at NASA are giving names to different features and landmarks, often using the Navajo language for those names.
The Perseverance team of scientists has a list of 50 names to start with. And, they expect to continue working with the Navajo Nation when they need more names as the rover continues to explore. (NASA)
