CAMPBELL COUNTY, Va. (WSET) —Home is where the heart is. For Michael Kinnaird, that's now in the 2020 Central Virginia St. Jude Dream Home in Campbell County.
Kinnaird's name was chosen back in August as the winner of the beautiful home in the Trent's Landing neighborhood just off Waterlick Road.
Kinnaird said every time he pulls in the driveway and walks through the front door, he's still in shock his name was called.
He said he never thought he had much chance of winning the home. But for him, it was never about the prizes.
Kinnaird said he's happy to support St. Jude because it's about helping children fighting cancer. At St. Jude, families never receive a bill. They only have to focus on getting their child well.
Meanwhile, ground has been broken on the new 2021 Central Virginia St. Jude Dream Home in the same Trent's Landing neighborhood in Campbell County.
