ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- Coronavirus outbreaks are being linked to recent trips to Myrtle Beach, including in Roanoke.
Dr. Molly O'Dell with the Virginia Department of Health, leading the pandemic response for the Roanoke and Alleghany Health Districts, said more than 20 people in the area have tested positive for the virus in the past two weeks after traveling to Myrtle Beach in South Carolina.
More than 90 students in Ohio and West Virginia have also tested positive for coronavirus after a Myrtle Beach trip.
