RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) -- The latest numbers released by the Virginia Department of Health Sunday, April 26 show there are 12,970 total cases; 12, 488 confirmed and 482 probable.
The death toll has risen from 436 to 448.
The Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association dashboard on Sunday shows that there are 897 confirmed positive COVID-19 patients currently hospitalized in Virginia and 539 patients are hospitalized waiting for their test results. Of those numbers, 387 patients are in the ICU and 217 patients are on a ventilator.
The VHHA reports that 1,815 COVID-19 patients have been hospitalized and discharged.
