RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) -- The number of coronavirus cases in the Commonwealth continues to rise daily.
As of Thursday, April 16, the Virginia Department of Health reports that there are 6,889 coronavirus cases statewide and 1,114 hospitalizations.
According to the Virginia Hospital and Healthcare Association dashboard, there are 1,337 patients in hospitals who are either positive or whose test results are pending.
According to the latest information from the VDH, there have been 208 coronavirus-related deaths.
The number of coronavirus cases rose 389 from the previous day, while the number of deaths increased by 13.
