ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) -- For the first time in the Roanoke Star's 70-year history, it will light up different colors to honor and support healthcare workers and essential personnel during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.
"At dusk [Wednesday] you are going to see something awesome," the City of Roanoke posted on Facebook. we are going to "Light It Up Blue."
Along with the Roanoke Star, the Berglund Center and Wells Fargo tower will be lit up blue through Sunday evening.
