Coronavirus Cases Confirmed in Rocky Mount & Rockbridge Co Areas

ROCKY MOUNT, Va. (WSET) -- The Virginia Department of Health has announced a case of Coronavirus in Rocky Mount.

The VDH said the patient is a woman in her 60s and she is quarantined at home and health care providers are monitoring her health.

That is all the health department has revealed, in order to protect her privacy.

This is the third case of Coronavirus in our area.

The first is a patient currently at Roanoke Carilion and the other is a patient from the Rockbridge County area.

The VDH posts new numbers at noon everyday. On Friday, there were 114 positive cases with 35 tests pending.
