"With Great Catsby a week away, and the public fluctuating around a mashup of concern, good hearted mocking, and hysteria, I wanted to briefly talk about the dreaded C word. We have NO plans to cancel. This fundraiser is imperative to our special needs animals and barring a city or state wide mandate prohibiting public gatherings, we will be there....sparkling and twirling with a mixed drink in our hands and a smile on our faces. With that said, we urge you all to be grown up in your choices. If you are genuinely concerned that your attendance could be a danger to others or that your health, due to immune compromise or other medical predisposition could be at risk attending, then pm or call us. While I’m not guaranteeing refunds or partial refunds, I will say that I am not a wholly unreasonable person. On the upside, if the un-thinkable does occur, our silent auction is online for the first time ever....so those who have purchased (or plan to purchase) tickets will have access wherever you are.....whether that’s a fancy ball room or in a lair laying atop a pile of toilet paper rolls.
We hope you will come. We hope that tickets purchases will continue through our final few days of sales. We hope that despite the chaos and uncertainty, that this will be our best year yet....That the wine will be sweeter, the laughter ring louder, and the donations greater for our much deserving animals.
