Lynchburg City Council and the Lynchburg Hillcats minor league baseball team have entered into a six-year, $300,000 agreement to rename where the Hillcats play Bank of the James Stadium.
New signage is expected to be put up in time for the Hillcats' 2020 season home opener on Monday, April 13.
The City and the team will share equally in the revenue from the renaming deal.
