We are starting 2020 with an open mic session for all the people.
In our country, the Preamble to the Constitution begins with the words "We the People". These days, we are learning more and more about the diverse tapestry that makes up our country and community. Read the full Preamble below:
"We the People of the United States, in Order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
What does this actually mean to you? Do you feel like you are among "the People" mentioned here? If so, what does it look like? If not, who are your People?
