Bring your family and friends to join us on Main Street in downtown Buchanan for a fun time. We encourage you to come early and stay late taking advantage of the activities being offered by local churches, civic organizations and shops and restaurants.

For more than sixty years folks have gather along Main Street to meet with friends and cheer during the parade as marching units, floats, the James River High School Marching Band and Lord Botetourt High School Marching Band and other familiar faces make their way up Main Street.

If you come early take the opportunity to explore Main Street’s historic storefronts, you will find mom and pop shops filled with unique gifts and great food. You will also discover some new faces and new shops which have opened this year.

The Botetourt County Sherrif”s Department will lead the parade with their Color Guard while Santa and Mrs. Clause will close the parade as they wave to kids of every age.
