The Bluegrass, Barbecue and Brew Festival at Patrick Henry’s Red Hill offers visitors a laid back day on the picturesque grounds of Henry’s last home and burial site. Guests enjoy tours of Henry’s estate while enjoying the timeless sounds of fiddles, mandolins, basses, guitars and banjos. Enjoy mouth-watering barbecue Central Virginia vendors and wet your whistle with the finest beer and cider that Virginia craft brewers have to offer (along with our very own Red Hill wine collection). Shop our craft vendors, tour the historic grounds, and enjoy a fun-filled day for the whole family (children 12 & under get in free). Our intention is for the people to fall in love with Southern Virginia and all of the history, culture, food, beer and music it has to offer.
