The Lynchburg Police Department is searching for a man who lead officers on a chase on Tuesday, July 30, 2019.
Officers initiated a traffic stop on US 29 in Lynchburg for an unsafe lane change around 4:00 p.m.
The driver, Kevin Lee Bailey, 32, of Madison Heights, led the officer on a vehicle chase into Amherst County that ended on Warwick Street.
Officers recovered a firearm at the scene and are still looking for Bailey.
