Lynchburg Police: Car break-in reports increasing

Lynchburg Police are reminding you to lock your vehicles. They said there has been an increase in vehicle larcenies in recent months.

This morning, police said they responded to four reports of car break-ins on Myrtle Lane.

In June, police said there was a 67 percent jump in car larcenies from June 2018. They are attributing this uptick in crime to teenagers being out of school.
