Carroll County Sheriff J. B. Gardner reports that two people have been arrested in connection to a body found in Carroll County.
The body was found in a barn near the New River Trail on July 24, 2019.
Sheriff’s Office Investigators obtained warrants for Kayla Ann Fulton and Codie Nathanial Fletcher. Both are from Galax.
They have been charged them with the murder of 20-year-old Alexandra Dare Taylor.
Kayla Fulton, 20, was charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and the improper disposal of a human body.
Codie Fletcher was also charged with murder, conspiracy to commit murder and the improper disposal of a human body.
Fulton and Fletcher were arrested after the victim’s car was discovered by Investigators at a residence on the Grayson side of the City of Galax.
