River Ridge Mall announced official plans for the first phase of a two-year redevelopment, tentatively scheduled to begin at the end of June.
The first phase of development will provide a complete remodel of the center court of the mall, including new amenities such as an amphitheater, kiosks for food and beverages.
“We plan to have the first phase of development completed for the opening of the holiday shopping season,” said Louise Dudley, general manager of River Ridge.
The redevelopment will also focus on aesthetic upgrades that will contribute to a rural-modern architectural design.
These upgrades will include new flooring, new soft seating, greenery and fire and water features to help contribute to the new design concept aptly named "Great Space," in the plans.
Plans for River Ridge over the next two years include a multi-million dollar remodel with a state-of-the-art renovation of the remainder of the interior of the property.
