According to Virginia State Police, a tractor-trailer driver is dead following an accident on I-81 northbound in Pulaski County at mile marker 99.6. VDOT reports that the right lane is currently blocked.
Police responded to the single vehicle crash at 1:42 p.m.
Authorities say the truck was carrying paper products when it ran off the road and overturned.
The name of the victim is not being released at this time. This accident remains under investigation.
