On March 16, 2019, at approximately 7:00 p.m., the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office was dispatched to the Big Falls area of McCoy for a subject that had fallen off the cliffs overlooking the New River.
Curtis Rice, 38, of McCoy was pronounced dead at the scene.
The incident remains under investigation.
