Lynchburg Police: Arrest Made in Connection With Stabbing on Oakley Avenue

Lynchburg Police have arrested and charged a man in connection with a stabbing that left one man injured. 

Police located a man who had been stabbed on January 3, 2019, in the 500 block of Oakley Avenue.  The victim was taken to the hospital and treated for non-life threatening injuries. 

Yesterday authorities arrested Jamel Lamont Robey, 47, of Lynchburg and charged him with malicious wounding in the incident. 

Robey is being held at the Blue Ridge Regional Jail without bond.
