Cheer up, Posty.

Post Malone just wants to be able to live his best life without criticism. The "WOW" rapper worried his fans on Sunday (January 6) after he took to Twitter to reveal that some of their mean comments were affecting his mental health. "If y'all are actually my fans and friends and love me and want me to be mentally stable, can y'all please let me live? I'm trying my best here," he wrote. "That's all I can do."

While it's unknown what sparked Post's tweet, thousands of fans and some of his fellow artists replied to his tweet with encouraging words and messages of love.

The 23-year-old rapper's PSA marked his first words on social media since his New Year's Eve performance on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve With Ryan Seacrest. The performance was, in essence, the cherry on top of quite the successful year for Post, who dropped his second album Beerbongs & Bentleys —which went double platinum — collaborated with Swae Lee for a track on the Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse soundtrack, performed at Coachella, performed with Aerosmith during the Video Music Awards, released a special-edition Crocs collection that sold out within hours, and that's not even half of his 2018 accolades. However, the year was also scattered with a few lows for the rapper. As fans know, Post called it quits with his girlfriend of three years, he totaled his Rolls Royce in a serious car accident, and there was the whole emergency plane landing debacle (Who could forget that?).
