A day after Kevin Hart announced he was going to be the host of the 2019 Oscars, he announced he was stepping down, due to some old tweets that have resurfaced.
While these tweets have resurfaced, a LOT of people are coming to his defense. He IS a comedian and people nowadays are literally sensitive if people blink too slowly for them. Not sure how Kevin stepping down is going to help/hurt the ratings but it's going to be super hard to find someone who's as well-liked across Hollywood to fill his shoes. When he announced he was hosting, it seemed like EVERYONE was excited. Guess we'll see.
