John Stamos Won't Post Any More Photos Of Son After Relentless Dad-Shaming

Have mercy! John Stamos has revealed that he will no longer be posting photos of his six-month-old son, Billy. While some of the Fuller House star's fans loved seeing pictures of the adorable baby boy, a select few used the pics as opportunities to dad-shame Stamos, and it got so bad that John doesn't want to have to experience it again.

The 55-year-old actor, who is a first-time father, explained to Entertainment Tonight, "I've only put him on [Instagram] barely once, on mine, and I got so baby shamed about how I was holding him or whatever I said, 'That's it!'"

John is referring to a picture from July where he was in Times Square with Billy facing forward in a baby-carrier strapped to Stamos's body. Lots of followers chose to tell John he was doing it wrong and that Billy was too small to be facing that way.

Stamos seems pretty sad to have had to make this decision, adding, "[You] want to share your happiness with the world. But you know there's a lot of critiques out there."

However, John still chose to share one more pic of Billy's milestones - his first swim. He captioned the shot, "Some days are just better than others."

It'll likely be the last Billy photo you'll see for a while. John explained he and his wife, Caitlin McHugh, will wait until Billy is "old enough to decide" for himself which pictures he wants posted on social media.
