Simone Dumont has been a fan of the show "Cops" for years so when she turned 93 earlier this month, her daughter arranged an unusual birthday present.
Her daughter, Anne, arranged for her mom to be "arrested" by the Augusta Maine Police Department. Simone got to see what the inside of a police car was like, sit in the back and the front and turn on the sirent.
She told Anne that the present made her life.
Anne said she got the idea from her mom who had wondered what it would be like to be arrested and sit in the back seat.
She found out and afterwards, hugged the officers involved and thanked them for a gentle arrest.
