Kate Middleton Just Gave Birth To A Baby Boy

The third royal baby is a BOY!

News broke early Monday morning, April 23rd, that Kate Middleton had arrived at St. Mary's Hospital alongside Prince William before 6 AM (U.K. time), the same hospital where she gave birth to Prince George and Princess Charlotte.

The newest royal family member will be fifth in line to the throne behind Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince George and Princess Charlotte. This makes the soon-to-be-wed Prince Harry sixth in line to his Grandmother's, Queen Elizabeth, seat.

Full details on Kate and William's third child have not yet been released, but the palace announced via Twitter that The Duchess of Cambridge and the baby are both doing well. He was welcomed into the world at 11:01 am, weighing 8lbs 7ozs and The Duke of Cambridge was present for the birth.

It is expected that later today, per royal tradition, an official birth announcement will be posted on an easel outside of Buckingham Palace.
