The man wanted for murder in Henry County has been taken into custody 1,336 miles away in San Marcos, Texas. The Martinsville Police Department said Jake Lewis was caught last night.
Lewis, 23, of Reidsville, North Carolina, was wanted for first degree murder and use of a firearm during the commission of first degree murder. Eric Adams, 37, was found dead from apparent gunshot wounds on February 18, 2018.
Police said Lewis was in the company of another individual identified as Dylan Day who is also a suspect in Adams' murder.
