Texas Tavern in Downtown Roanoke is a local icon and popular restaurant for locals and visitors to Virginia's Blue Ridge.
It's great food and classic setting is what earned the Tavern a spot on USA Today's list of "The Mid-Atlantic's Coolest Vintage Restaurants."
It's the latest in a collection of accolades the Texas Tavern has received over the years, including being featured on numerous lists of America's best burgers. Of course, it's also on our list of Best Burgers in Virginia's Blue Ridge.
