February 20, 2018 - Blacksburg Police and Blacksburg Rescue responded to a report just after 9:00 p.m. last night that an adult male had fallen and suffered injuries near the 1600 block of Patrick Henry Drive.
The male subject was located and unresponsive. Rescue transported him to Lewis Gale Montgomery Regional Hospital. He was later transferred to Roanoke Memorial Hospital where he died from his injuries. The injuries sustained were consistent with that of a fall.
Blacksburg Police are investigating the man's death. No further details or the name of the person is being released at this time.
