Gleaning For The World will be accepting donations of non-perishable food, personal care items, and household cleaning products at Sam’s Club on Wards Road in Lynchburg on Monday and Tuesday (9/30 and 10/1) from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. both days to help those in areas devastated by Hurricane Helene.
Along with financial donations, GFTW will be accepting:
- Non-perishable food items
- Paper plates
- Plastic cups/cutlery
- Plastic wrap and sandwich bags
- Baby supplies: diapers/wipes
- Personal hygiene: toothpaste/brushes, deodorant, shampoo, soap
- Adult diapers
- Feminine hygiene products
- Tarps, work gloves, brooms, trash bags
- Pet food and supplies
- Bottled water/sports drinks
All donated items must be NEW and UNUSED.
