In an interview with the Washington Post this morning, Gov. Northam hinted at a summer schooling program for Virginia students to help make up some of the learning loss that has taken place during the pandemic.
Northam will be holding a news conference Friday morning at 11:00 am and it's expected that he'll announce ways to help students catch up on their learning by extending the school year into the summer.
