BEDFORD COUNTY, Va. (WSET) -- Officials in Bedford County created a new COVID-19 aid initiative for folks.
They hope to decrease the worry among families and the number of 911 calls.
The Bedford County Sheriff's Office now houses a call center where residents can call with any questions related to COVID-19.
The number to call is 540-587-0720. They can also be reached via email at covid19bedfordhelp@bedfordcounty.va.gov.
It will operate Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
