Police Say No Department Policies Violated During Delegate's Stop

The Christiansburg Police Department has released their findings of an internal investigation related to a January 26 suspicion of DUI traffic stop involving Delegate Chris Hurst.

Police Chief Mark Sisson says the internal investigation determined that no department policies were violated and there is no evidence of improper or inconsistent actions or favoritism exhibited by the officer. Their investigation found that Lt. Stephen Swecker treated Hurst just as anyone else would have been treated.
