Flood. Windstorm. Power outage. Are you and your family prepared to survive the first 72 hours on your own?
Roanoke Emergency Management and the American Red Cross have teamed up to present two free sessions for a "72-hour preparedness" event.
The sessions will be on Thursday, August 1, 2019, at the American Red Cross located at 352 Church Avenue in downtown Roanoke. Child care will be provided. Adult and children's classes will run simultaneously from 9:00 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. and 10:15 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. Snacks and water will be provided.
