The Appomattox County Historical Society’s “Appomattox Oyster & Seafood Festival” is being held on Saturday, April 14, 2018 as a great way to shake off cabin fever!
The event, presented by the State Farm office of Sarah Saunders in downtown Appomattox, is looking for a few more Craft Vendors to participate.

If you would like to volunteer to help out at the event, we can use folks to help park cars, assist with set up/take down, as well as other duties. Contact us through our email address to learn more.
The event will feature over 30 vendors, various food items including Virginia Oysters, Wine, Beer and Distillery product tastings, with those products available for purchase. We will be providing Moonshine cocktails and Spirits cocktails for purchase and the entire day will be entertained with the music of the Farm Use String Band, The Free Flowing Musical Experience, Gypsy Road, and Bo-Zac!
There will be activities for adults and children including a free bounce house and corn hole boards. Tickets are $15 in advance, $25 at the Gate for tasting tickets which allow tastings, and purchases of alcohol. Non-drinkers 13 yrs & older are $10, 6-12 yrs old are $5, and Under 6 yrs are Free. Come out and enjoy!
