Pharrell‘s latest single, “Come Get It Bae,” is a duet with Miley Cyrus, but he didn’t initially intend for himself — or any guy — to sing it.
“‘Come Get It’ I actually wrote for a girl,” he explains to On Air with Ryan Seacrest. “So it’s written from a woman’s perspective. And I just decided to re-record it myself. It’s funny because there’s another song on my album that is actually written from the perspective of a woman as well, and that’s called ‘Hunter.’”
Pharrell’s album GIRL is on iTunes now!
