Meet Kaylee Moats, a 22-year-old graphic designer from Arizona born without a vagina who has launched a GoFundMe campaign for a $15,000 surgery that will allow her to have sex with her boyfriend. The Daily Mail reports that Moats suffers from Mayer Rokitansky Kuster Hauser syndrome (MRKH)--which means she was born without a cervix, uterus or vaginal opening. The condition affects just one in 5,000 women and the cause is not yet known. Moats says her boyfriend Robbie Limmer has been very understanding. "He doesnât really focus on the sexual side of our relationship because we canât do anything since I donât have a vaginal opening," she explains. "But I am looking forward to having a sexual relationship. Iâm not sure if I want to wait until marriage, but I think having that option there is a lot more comforting.â Moats says insurance companies won't cover the procedure she wants because they do not consider it to be a life-saving treatment.
