ROANOKE, Va. (WSET) — A gun was fired in the bathroom of Lucy Addison Middle School Tuesday afternoon.
Roanoke City Public Schools said no one was injured when the gun went off.
The Roanoke Police Department said a firearm and damage from the shooting were found in the bathroom.
A juvenile was taken to the Roanoke Valley Juvenile Detention Center where he is charged on suspicion of possession of a firearm on school grounds and discharging a firearm on school grounds, police said.
