2-Year-Old Boy Abducted From Giles County Found Safe

2-year-old Noah Gabriel Trout has been reunited with his family and a suspect has been arrested.

GILES COUNTY, Va. (WSET) — A 2-year-old boy abducted in Giles County on Sunday has been found safe.

An Amber alert had been issued Sunday for Noah Gabriel Trout after officials say he was abducted from a church in the area of Big Stony Creek Road in Ripplemead.

Noah was found around 1:30 p.m. Monday in Alleghany County.

In a news conference Monday afternoon, authorities said they had been working nonstop to help bring Noah home safely.

"He has been reunited with his family," the sheriff said.

Authorities had set up a perimeter around the suspect's Alleghany County home and safely retrieved the young boy.

The suspect, 44-year-old Nancy Renee Friedley, has been charged with one count of abduction and one count of felony child endangerment.
