About Adam Rutledge:

Whether he is leading a concert as the front man for his band or helping to lead his high school basketball team to a State Championship from the back court, Adam Rutledge has always found a way to deliver in his hometown of Salem. Now, the up-and-coming country music recording artist is set to headline a concert at the Salem Civic Center Drive-In on Thursday, September 17. The show will give his fans the initial taste of his first-ever full-length album, “Don’t Stop.”

The Salem High School and Roanoke College graduate has a sleek, raw and soulful voice that always brings authenticity to his songwriting and performances. He has a knack for writing razor-sharp stories that cut straight to the heart. That is how he caught the attention of hit singer-songwriter and fellow Virginian, Phil Vassar. That relationship has opened a number of doors for Rutledge, including the opportunity to serve as Vassar’s opening act.

Rutledge also has shared the stage with Old Dominion, Brothers Osborne, LOCASH, Eli Young Band, Lauren Alaina, Chris Janson, Tyler Farr and many more. In 2018, Rutledge released his EP, Runway, which featured seven songs. His edgy, powerful sound does not blend-in but it-does indeed fit in today’s country sound. Adam’s most recent music video for his single “Love Kickin’ In” recently premiered on CMT.com and reached the #1 spot for most viewed video.
