Register for the Hope To Walk Virtual 5K, Aug. 8-9

Blacksburg, VA: Humanitarian non-profit organization, Hope To Walk, is hosting its first annual Virtual 5K August 8-9, 2020.

Run, walk, or roll 3.1 miles anytime over the course of those two days.

Where will this 5K take place? WHEREVER YOU ARE!! As a “Virtual” event, you can participate anywhere in the world!

THE PROBLEM:

There are millions of amputees in Third World countries who could walk, but have no money for a prosthetic.

THE SOLUTION:

Hope to Walk has developed a novel, low-cost prosthetic leg which it provides -- free of charge -- to some of the world’s poorest amputees, currently serving in Haiti, Honduras, Guatemala, Vietnam, and the Bahamas with dozens of other countries in need and waiting.

Hope to Walk also trains locals in these countries to build low-cost prosthetics themselves and to establish their own prosthetics clinics -- eventually becoming self-sufficient.

All proceeds are tax-deductible, and will help Hope To Walk achieve its goal of providing amputees with a fresh restart on life through the gift of a new leg and renewed hope.

You can compete as an individual or create a team. Raising $50 will get you a special edition Hope To Walk Virtual 5K T-shirt! The team and individual who raise the most money will get their very own Hope To Walk “Golden Leg” trophy!

Registration is FREE. To register and learn more about the event go to hopetowalk.donordrive.com
