Small Business Delivers 80 Meals to LGH as Token of Appreciation

LYNCHBURG, Va. (WSET) -- A small business donated meals to workers at Lynchburg General Hospital to show their appreciation.

Michelle Ayers, with Purple Door Catering, said a small business contacted them to deliver 80 meals to the third shift ER and COVID19 frontline workers to show appreciation on Saturday night.

Ayers said this inspired them to keep the "feed the community" drive going.

She said that they plan on delivering meals throughout the week to show love, hope and the spirit of giving during this difficult time.
