RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) -- The number of coronavirus cases and coronavirus-related deaths in Virginia continues to rise.
The Virginia Department of Health confirms that there are 2,407 coronavirus cases and 52 total deaths in Virginia as of Saturday. This is a rise of nearly 400 cases in one day.
As of Saturday, 52 people have died including a man from the Farmville area, a woman from Botetourt County and a man in the Mount Rogers Health District. 16 residents at a nursing home in Henrico County have died from COVID-19. There are 174 confirmed cases as of Saturday in Henrico County.
