Governor Bans All Events Over 100 People, Coronavirus Cases Up to 45 in Va.

RICHMOND, Va. (WSET) -- Governor Ralph Northam is taking action to prevent the spread of coronavirus in Virginia.

In a tele-press conference on Sunday, Northam said he is banning all events involving over 100 people in Virginia after the first Virginia coronavirus-related death was reported on Saturday, March 14.

According to Northam, there are 45 people who have tested positive for the coronavirus in Virginia.
